OHTC Chapter Instruction for Lessons

กก

Effective August 1st, 2003, all OHTC chapters must follow and comply the following requirements in order to receive proper qualification for individual's rank and promotion tests.

Purpose: Due to a lack of proper instruction, the students are missing theory and philosophy portions of martial arts in each Chapter's classroom instruction. Master has created an online study system which all chapter instructors may benefit from to accomplish their theory and philosophy instruction. All students and chapter instructors must visit NCTMA & ACTMA and complete each certification program for all levels, as following:

White to Yellow: Martial Arts Education Certification (NCTMA)

Yellow to Orange: Fundamentals of Martial Arts Certification (NCTMA)

Orange to Green: Eastern Way of Health Certification (NCTMA)

Green to Blue:  The Way of Tea Certification (NCTMA)

Blue to Purple: Yeum Yang Certification (NCTMA)

Purple to Brown: Ancient Art of Ki Certification (NCTMA)

Brown to Red: Rescue Methods Certification (NCTMA)

Red to Red/White:  Natural Healing Art Certification (NCTMA)

Red/White to Navy: Art of Baduk Certification (NCTMA)

Navy to Temp. Black Belt: Hygiene Certification (ACTMA)

Temp. Black Belt to Black Belt Candidate: Ethics Certification (ACTMA)

Black Belt Candidate to Permanent Black Belt: Vital Spots (NCTMA)

All students and instructors alike are required to obtain Certification in all 9 areas of NCTMA and the Hygiene and Ethics portion of ACTMA. Baduk will be required as part of the permanent test. This is not optional. All together, there are 11 certifications and baduk, starting at white belt and continuing to 1st Degree black belt.

These certifications may be tested and obtained by visiting the OHTC website and downloading the baduk program. The details of the testing system are almost complete, so please check back soon for updates.

This section of the promotion test will replace the Korean terminology and extra study requirements permanently.

Each belt takes about 2-3 months to prepare, so given proper study material, 2-3 months per test should be enough time to prepare for the NCTMA and ACTMA certifications as required for each test up to black belt.
