The Tea Master Da Doh, the "Way of Tea" is founded on traditions and philosophies that have been passed down for thousands of years. This traditional foundation includes the teachings and traditions that have been passed down by the Song family of Korea through current Tea Master, Edward (K.S.) Song. The Song family brings a 400-year lineage of eastern medicine, martial arts and philosophies, which include the “Way of Tea”. Through the guidance of the Tea Master, the traditions and benefits of the Tea Ceremony are preserved.
Grand Master Song
began his martial arts training at the age of five under the tutelage of his
father, Grand Master Jung Soo Song, and his grandfather, Grand Master Keum Sool
Song. The majority of Grand Master Song's skills were acquired from his
grandfather. Due to the reputation of his grandfather in the martial arts, he
was afforded the opportunity to study with other great masters throughout Asia.
He graduated from college with a Doctor's Degree in Eastern Medicine
(Acupuncture and Herbology) and later received his PhD in Physical Education and
Traditional Eastern Medicine. Before coming to the United States, he trained
both the Korean and American Special Forces stationed in Korea.
