Classification of O Mi Ja Tea

O Mi Ja has generally a warming affect and a sour taste.  O Mi Ja is often prescibed in Eastern Medicine to quiet the spirit and calm the heart.  The fruit of this tea contains essential vitamins such as Vitamin C and E.  Small amounts of caffeine are present and this tea has five different taste.

Affect

O Mi Ja helps to recover from overwork.  It helps develop vision, improves the immune system and works to reduce tumors.  O Mi Ja also helps organs such the lungs, liver, stomach, duodenum and colon.  Symptoms such as lead poisoning, stress and bronchitis may be relieved with O Mi Ja.  Relief from chronic cough, diarrhea and frequent urination from kidney dysfunction may be enhanced.  O Mi Ja tonifies the kidneys and helps to relieve allergic skin disorders.  Affects include inhibiting sweating and generating fluids. 

Procedure for Drinking O Mi Ja Tea

  • Rinse fruit well with water and let dry

  • Boil Water

  • Measure 1 tablespoon of O Mi Ja

  • Mix 1 tablespoon of O Mi Ja with 1 pot (about 2 cups) of boiling water

  • Allow the tea to simmer and mix with water

  • Drink 1 pot of tea, 3 times a day

  • If the tea is boiled to long, the tea taste will be excessively sour.  Be careful and boil the tea for a short period of time.
